In the coming months, we continue to meet with community members, and public and private sector donors to finalize the plans for securing our new library. Our library’s need for strong support has never been more important. While public support pays for the day-to-day operations of our library, gifts from donors like you help us complete special projects like building our new library, and enhancing access to public computers, community programs and educational opportunities. The estimated cost for a new library is $3.2 -$3.5 million. In the interim, we are looking for new ways to serve our community now.
Our library is rooted in strong community support and our library needs community support now. Donate to the campaign for a new library in John Day. All contributions to the Grant County Library Foundation are tax deductible.
