Imagine a new library for Grant County:

  • A space to learn, a place to connect with neighbors.

  • Meeting rooms to attend workshops or talks by authors.

  • A quiet place to read and reflect.

  • Spaces accessible to all physical abilities, from the parking lot to the entrance to the aisles.

  • Resources and facilities that new residents seek out when raising families and working remotely.

  • A new location in downtown John Day, adjacent to parks, community services and a museum

“Google can bring you back 100,000 answers. A librarian can bring you back the right one.”

 —Neil Gaiman, Author
